APMHA is hosting a Body Checking clinic for ALL Atom aged players (2002 and 2001 birth years). This clinic is MANDATORY for all kids moving up to Peewee next season. All Atom coaches must also attend the session.
To confirm your attendance, please email Gord Snow asap. APMHA is hosting a Body Checking clinic for ALL Atom aged players (2002 and 2001 birth years). This clinic is MANDATORY for all kids moving up to Peewee next season, particularly important for any kids that may want to tryout for a competitive team next year as all competitive tryouts will be full contact. We are also inviting all minor Atom aged kids (born in 2002) to attend the clinic as well, this will allow those kids to be affiliated to our Peewee teams next season if required and also gives our kids a head start in learning how to check properly. IMPORTANT!! - ALL Atom coaches must also attend the clinic, checking is a difficult skill to teach and even more difficult with Hockey Canada's new head contact rules. Pat Malloy's clinic is set up to teach coaches AND players, so please plan to attend.
