Referee Application for the 2011-2012 season - Application deadline August 15, 2011

  Thank you for your interest in refereeing hockey with the Almonte-Pakenham Minor Hockey Association for the 2011–12 season.  District 4 officials must be a minimum of 14 years old by 31 Dec of the hockey season.

Given the size of APMHA and the number of games played here we typically only have room for 2 to 4 new officials.  Unfortunately, applying does not necessarily guarantee a spot on the roster.

Filling out this application is a mandatory step in the application process.  Upon completion and submission, your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted with further instructions.

Successful applicants who have been selected to officiate for the APMHA will then be required to attend an ODMHA Referee Clinic held in the area in September/October 2011.  The clinic is a full day and includes a written exam.  Cost is typically $115 for new Level I referees, $137 for new Level II.  Please do not register for a clinic until you have been told you have been accepted to officiate in Almonte-Pakenham.

After your clinic, you will be required to attend an on-ice session to cover the procedures you learned in the classroom.

Throughout your first 3 years as an official within the ODMHA you will be required to complete 4 online quizzes each season.  Failure to do so may result in you being taken off the active roster.
