1. Competitve Tryouts

For Ottawa Valley Silver Seven (A and AA)

• All players wishing to attend the OVSS Tryouts should pre-register: see link below for Tryouts Dates and registration form:

For Ottawa Valley Titans (Bantam and Midget AAA)

• All players wishing to attend the OVT Tryouts should pre-register: see link below for Tryouts Dates and registration form (early bird tryouts fees apply until July 31^st)

For Mississippi Thunder Kings (B rep)

• We do not have a registration on-line for the tryouts but it helps greatly for planning reason if we have the list of our APMHA players who plan to tryout. Please send me an email letting me know and indicating Player Name and Level.

Important:

I remind all players who plan to attend competitive tryouts and who have chosen to pay their fees by cheque that your APMHA Fees must be received before the start of the tryouts to enable you to be “cleared” for the tryouts. Upon successful placement in a competitive team- the APMHA fees you have paid will be entirely transferred to the competitive association who will then invoice you the reminder (there is usually a payment plan in place for the balance.)

2. Coach and Team staff applications for the 2010-2011 hockey season

We always welcome all volunteers as the association could not run without you. This will help greatly the start of the season if you can fill the coaching and team staff application form: see link below and forward to our Director of Coach Development (Bob Moulton) or mail to the association PO Box in Almonte. Contact information are on the APMHA executive page.

3. APMHA Conditioning Camps

The camps will starts for all levels after the long weekend, during the week of September 7 at the Pakenham Arena. The APMHA Convenors for each level will contact you with the dates and times. The sortout for the APMHA team will follow the conditioning camps and more detailed about the schedule will be posted by mid to late August.

4. Summer Camps

The CP Canadians (Coach Jason Clarke) are once again running a camp this summer at the CP arena. See the attached document for information. Although APMHA is not “pushing” a camp vs another, we gladly forward you the information, since the CP Canadians like the Thunder Junior Hockey Club are helping out minor hockey and APMHA during the hockey season.
