Almonte Community Center Renovations - We need your help!

On Thursday Feb 5 2009, a delegation from APMHA attended the Recreation and Culture portion of the Missississpi Mills Council meeting.  Past APMHA President Kim Julian spoke on behalf of our Association, CP Girls Hockey Association, Ottawa Valley Titans and MTK regarding our concern over the need to push forward with planned upgrades to the Almonte and District Community Centre.  Council committed that the decision to move on to the next stage of this process will be put forth at the Mississippi Mills budget meeting in two weeks.

It is important that we show Council that the need for these upgrades is something every person in our Association is serious about and wants.  We would like the letters signed by each parent individually and collected by the team Manager who can then forward to the Executive.  We will collect all the letters and present them to Council in a package.  It also wouldn't hurt if all members were to contact their Council member and express their wishes regarding this important matter.
