Deadline for Coach Applications - September 20, 2015

If you are interesting in a coaching position for any level, IP through Midget, you must complete the Volunteer Application and submit to the Director of Coaching at director.coaching@apmha.org  
Please note Sunday, September 20 is the dealine for for coach applications for all levels, IP through Midget.  

  Zone Coaches Needed - 2015
The APMHA is looking for volunteers to be a part of the new “Development Zone” approach we are taking for the 2015/16 season. The “Development Zone” is where our coaches will receive not only hockey skills training, but also Mastery skills training that will ensure our youth athletes compete with maximum effort, are continuously learning and are not afraid to make mistakes.
At the end of our season these athletes will have developed physically and mentally into better athletes , and better young people. Most importantly, they will have had fun playing the sport we all love and honour.
 
Desired Characteristics
·       Passionate about hockey, Canada’s Game
·       Passionate about kids having fun
·       Passionate about contributing to youth hockey skill development
·       Passionate about youth “Life Skills” development
·       Passionate about having fun… again
 
Qualifications Needed
·       None, except your passion for the above
·       On Line certifications may be required
 
Remuneration
·       “Feel Good” feeling that comes when you are doing something that matters and contributes to the well being of your community
