CPMHA and APMHA are very excited to announce that we have once again been selected to deliver “THE FIRST SHIFT” program By Hockey Canada and Bauer. The program is open to all residents of Carleton Place Minor Hockey or Almonte Pakenham Minor Hockey.  If there are still spots available after September 21st, the program will be opened to residents of District 4.
 
Designed to help both children and families fall in love with hockey before committing to full time hockey, our twelve-week learn to play program focuses on having fun while learning basic skills.  For $199.00 Bauer will supply them with full equipment and we will provide 12 one hour ice sessions. This is an excellent opportunity to get feel for the game while not committing to a team.
Participants will receive 6 on ice sessions before Christmas designed to familiarize them with skating skills, followed by 6 sessions post Christmas break designed to learn the concepts of hockey in 3 on 3 and 4 on 4 sessions.
