Tournaments with 16 teams registered on the tournament date will follow the "A" and "B" format;
see 16 Team Tournament Rules Each team will be guaranteed four (4) games
Tournaments with 8 teams registered on the tournament date will follow the "A" and "B" format;
see 8 Team Tournament Rules Each team will be guaranteed two (2) games
Tournaments with 6 teams registered on the tournament date will follow a round robin format;
see 6 Team Tournament Rules Each team will be guaranteed three (3) games
Tournaments with 5 teams registered on the tournament date will follow a round robin format;
see 5 Team Tournament Rules Each team will be guaranteed two (2) games
Initiation events are considered fun-days and will not use these competitive type formats;
see IP Fun Day Guidelines Each team will be guaranteed three (3) games
Body-checking tournaments are indicated with “(ck)”. NON-CHECKING teams are allowed to enter these events if a Letter of Authorization from the registering team’s President is provided with registration.
All tournament players will receive a drink (after 1st game only).
For Bantam and Midget events, only the A and B Champs and Finalists will receive a Team plaque.
For Novice to Peewee events, each participant will receive an award. A and B Champs and Finalists will receive a finalist gifts and all other participating teams will receive a participants medallion.
IP Fun Day participants will all receive a Fun Day Participant trophy.
Tournament spots are guaranteed on a "first served" basis, on the premises that the; ODMHA Official Roster, APMHA Registration Form and Fees are submitted in due time and in agreement with the tournament coordinator.
APMHA reserves the right to refuse any team application. For teams that are in non-tiered leagues – which would be the case when an association doesn’t have an “A” team… We would recommend that those teams register for a class above them.
Example: an Atom “B” team from an association that is apart of a non-tiered league should register in our Atom “A” tournament.
The following MUST be done to have your name on the tournament list…
To RESERVE A SPOT in one of the tournaments; please mail in your APMHA Registration form and Fees…
To SECURE YOUR SPOT; send in your ODMHA Official Team Roster.

If your team should opt out of our tournament you must give 45 days notice. With 45 days notice you will be refunded the total fee amount. If you opt out with less than 45 days notice, we will endeavour to find a suitable replacment team or you may try to find a team to take your place. An administrative fee of $50.00 will be deducted from the amount returned to you if a team is found. If a team is not found, your team will be considered in the tournament and we will not refund the tournament fees.
A fee of $50.00 will be charged for any fees that come back "NSF".
Teams wishing to enter our tournaments are requested to download and complete the Tournament form and forward it with a cheque payable to the "Almonte Pakenham Minor Hockey Association" or “APMHA”
Teams wishing to enter our Fun Day are requested to download and complete the Fun Day form and forward it with a cheque payable to the "Almonte Pakenham Minor Hockey Association" or “APMHA”
Registration can be emailed with a scanned copy of your cheque, and ODMHA official Roster. Teams will ONLY BE CONFIRMED when original cheque has been received along with the Registration form and ODMHA Official Roster.
Teams will be notified of their games 2 week prior to the tournament date.
